How to Set Up Email on Your Phone (Outlook/Gmail)
For Outlook (Microsoft 365 or Exchange Users)
- Download the Outlook app from the App Store (iPhone) or Play Store (Android).
- Open the app and tap "Add Account."
- Enter your work/school email address and tap "Next."
- Enter your password and tap "Sign In."
- Follow any on-screen instructions to allow permissions and sync your emails.
For Gmail (Google Workspace Users)
- Open the Gmail app on your phone.
- Tap the profile icon (top right) > Add another account.
- Select Google if using a work Gmail account, or Exchange for Microsoft email.
- Enter your email and password.
- Follow the prompts and allow permissions.
Troubleshooting
- Make sure you have an internet connection.
- If your email doesn’t sync, try removing and re-adding the account.
- Some organizations require two-factor authentication (2FA) – check if you need an app like Microsoft Authenticator or Google Authenticator.
