Creating a new Assignment

To add a new assignment to the gradebook, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the Gradebook Page

   • Open the Talons LMS Gradebook where student grades are listed.

2. Open the Assignment Form
   

   • Click on the "Options" button at the top-right.
   • 
     
   • Select "Add New Assignment" from the dropdown menu.

3. Fill Out Assignment Details

   • In the "Add New Assignment"modal that appears:
     • Assignment Name – Enter the name of the assignment (e.g., "Programming Quiz 1").
     • Weight (%) – Set the weight percentage for the assignment (e.g., "15%").

4. Save the Assignment

   • Click "Add Assignment" to save.
   • The page will refresh, and the new assignment will appear in the gradebook as a new column.
