If You Forgot Your Password (Microsoft Account Users)
- On the login screen, click "I forgot my password."
- Enter your Microsoft email and follow the prompts.
- Check your email or phone for a verification code.
- Enter the code and create a new password.
- Restart your computer and log in with your new password.
- Please note, if your organization is managed by Frozen Lake's MSP Program, your password reset will also reset and sync to your Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 portal.
For Local Account Users (Non-Microsoft Account)
- On the login screen, click "Reset Password."
- Answer your security questions (if set up).
- Enter a new password and confirm it.
- Click "Reset" and log in with the new password.
If You Can’t Reset the Password
- Try logging in with a different account with admin privileges.
- Boot into Safe Mode and use the built-in Administrator account to reset it.
- Open a Ticket with our MSP Service-desk for assistance.
