If you need to add a new terminal to the Retail Application Environment (RAE), follow these steps using Ground Control.
Step 1: Log into Ground Control
- Open a web browser and go to https://groundcontrol.frozenlake.one.
- Log in using your RAE Back Office credentials.
Step 2: Navigate to the Terminals Page
- After logging in, click on the “Terminals” tab in the navigation menu.
- This will display a list of all currently registered terminals.
Step 3: Add a New Terminal
- Click the “Add” button.
- A form will appear where you need to enter terminal details.
Step 4: Fill Out the Terminal Details
? Terminal Hostname – Enter the device’s hostname (e.g., POS-01
).
? Terminal MAC Address – Enter the device’s MAC Address (used for network identification).
? Terminal Override Password – Either:
- Enter a custom password, or
- Click INHERIT to use the default password from the primary group.
? Terminal WebURL – Enter the URL where the terminal should navigate (e.g., POS software login page).
Step 5: Save and Deploy
- Review all entered details.
- Click “Save” to add the terminal to the system.
- The new terminal will now be listed and accessible in Ground Control.

❌ Can’t log in?
- Ensure you’re using the correct RAE Back Office credentials.
- Reset your password if necessary.
❌ Terminal not appearing?
- Refresh the Terminals page after adding.
- Verify the MAC address is entered correctly.
